A TALE OF TWO TOMMYS (and then some)

Each line of panels represents a distinct timeline.  Each interaction with the past generates a new timeline while the original also remains intact, the two branches identical up until the point of interaction with the future.  This prevents paradoxes: despite creating a new timeline, perhaps one in which he never existed, a time traveler still retains his unaltered origin timeline.  Thus, when Tommy contacts himself through time, he is actually speaking with a Tommy from another timeline rather than his own past or future self.  The distinction is subtle but prevents an action from being its own cause, preserving the law of cause and effect. Translucent green Tommys, and their matching green text, are holograms from across the timestream (or from other timelines, to be more precise).

TIMELINE A: THE INVENTIVE TOMMY
A-1 "I think I'll shoot some hoops. Morphinomenal!"	A-2 "Chillin' at Billy's. All right!"	A-3 "Aw man, the final battle! And my communicator's dead! If only I had a spare..."	A-4 "Hey, I could use this time device to send a message back in time to remind myself to bring one! But Zordon says we shouldn't know too much about our futures, so I won't tell him much. Let's see, yesterday at noon should do the trick."	A-5 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember a communicator. I shouldn't say any more. Just don't give up!" "Whoa..." TIMELINE B: THE FORGOTTEN TOMMY
B-1 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember a communicator. I shouldn't say any more. Just don't give up!" "Whoa..." B branches from A. Right: A-5 Tommy	B-2 "Chillin' at Billy's. I wonder why I need this spare communicator."	B-3 "Aw man, the final battle! My communicator's dead, and so's the spare! What good did that do?" B continues with own unique sub-branches, but irrelevant to "Green No More."

TIMELINE C: THE "MAKE IT UP AS I GO" TOMMY
C-1 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember a communicator. I shouldn't say any more. Just don't give up!" "Whoa..." Same as B. Right: A-5 Tommy	C-2 "Chillin' at Billy's. Hey, look, it's the future me back for his spare communicator! But man, he looks confused. "It's a time warp. I got the message." "Whoa! A spare, thanks!" C branches from B. Right: A-7 Tommy	C-3 "Aw man, the final battle! But it's okay, I know what to do with this time device. First I warned myself in the past. Let's see, I think it was about 11:00... Now what was it I'm supposed to tell him...?"	C-4 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember... communicator. That's all I can tell you. Don't give up. You'll meet... right after." Right: C-4 Tommy	D-2 "Chillin' at Billy's. I wonder why I need this spare communicator. And what did he mean by meeting right after?"	D-3 "Aw man, the final battle! My communicator's dead, and so's the spare! What good did that do?"	D-4 "Wait a minute, 'meet right after'... I'll meet my past self after he's already gotten the spare! But I wonder why I don't remember giving the spare to a future me...? What a miss..."	D-5 "It's a time warp. I got message..." "Um, thanks..." F branches from D. Left: F-2 Tommy

TIMELINE E: CONFIDENT TOMMY CREATED BY CONFIDENT TOMMY
E-1 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember... communicator. That's all I can tell you. Don't give up. You'll meet... right after." "Whoa..." Same as D. Right: C-4 Tommy	E-2 "Chillin' at Billy's. Hey, look, it's the future me back for his spare communicator! "I got... message. Here." "All right!" E branches from D. All X Tommys will be clueless, while all X+1 Tommys will be confident.

F-1 "I'm you from the future - the final battle. Remember... communicator. That's all I can tell you. Don't give up. You'll meet... right after." "Whoa..." Same as D.
